James 5:13-20, “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing.” Also encourages showing your faith by prayer. Also, Christians should take responsibility for each other confessing their sins and praying for one another.
Prayer Changes Things.
Prayer Changes Character.
Prayer is Measured by Depth- desire to be truly led by God with His answers.
If you feel alone, take to God in Prayer and feel His presence.
Prayer Changes Faith, (makes Faith Stronger).
1 Peter: 5-7, God Cares for all needs.
Philippians 4:6 & 4:19,” Do not be anxious, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Jesus Christ.
Through Prayer
Glorify God
Give God Control
Acknowledge His Lordship, that His Way is best.
Receive and believe His Blessing. Open your heart and mind to see where and what His blessing turns out to be. Too often we limit our prayer focus and miss the glorious events and directions He leads you through His blessings and answers to your prayers.
It activates Our Faith
Prayer must have Fervency, full of intense feeling. Fervency stresses sincerity and steadiness of emotional warmth and love for God, an intensity with faith and hope leading you in your prayer.
Prayer Changes our Vision.
Prayer Changes our Character. It develops and grows the new child of God you have become.
Challenge yourself to Pray five time daily.
Give God credit and acknowledge His Power.
Pray for God's will in your life. It's not wrong to pray for specific things, but don't limit yourself and not allow God to do what He knows is best for you.
